๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ out of 5 ๐ธs #Bluff by #JaneStantonHitchcock starts off with a bang. Literally. Maud Warner, a faded 50-something society outcast, walks into the Four Seasons restaurant and shoots Sun Sunderland who is lunching with Burt Sklar. She then calmly leaves the restaurant. Sunderland later died from his wounds, and all hell breaks loose as his double life is then revealed. Maud had been aiming, however, at Sklar, a man who had financially ruined her family. This is a rollicking, riveting read, and I loved every minute of it. I received a digital ARC from Netgalley in return for an honest review.
