I loved this book. Lighthearted with a touch of drama and mystery, as perfectly spiced as a cup of hot #chaitea. Published by @guidepostsmagazine.

Cousins of a certain age, widowed Elaine Cook and Jan Blake have purchased a #Victorian house in #CentralMaine. Located in town but on a stunning lake, the house is perfect for the tearoom business they plan to open.

Things get a little sinister when they purchase a teapot at a flea market. The pot has been overpainted with garish yellow paint and vibrant flowers. Once the paint is removed, the cousins discover the pot is far more valuable, and far more mysterious, than they’d imagined.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 🌻s is because there are, sadly, no recipes included. The novel is the first in the #TearoomMysteries series put out by #Guideposts, and contains #Christian elements, so don’t read if you’re put off by that. For fans (like me!) of @hallmarkchannel movies, I highly recommend this book!
